In response to your initial enquiry, I’ll ask you what your ideas and inspiration are for your communion cake. You might have a clear idea of what you want, or you might be inspired by one particular cake design. Maybe you’ll want me to create a cake inspired by your venue, your dress, your communion stationery or the story of how you met…
Step 2
We’ll meet up and get to know each other a bit better over cake and ideas.
As well as our meeting being a chance for you to try a selection of my signature communion cake flavors, the session is also an opportunity for us to talk about your communion day, your plans, and how your communion cake will fit into them. We’ll discuss the inspiration behind your communion cake in more detail and create some initial ideas together.
We will offer you different digital sketches of your dream cake design that will make you decide to make your order right away without a doubt !!
Step 3
Following on from our meeting, I’ll begin designing your communion cake from the ideas we discussed and I’ll create digital sketches to help you visualize your dream communion cake design in more detail. I’ll tweak your chosen design until all the details are as you want them to be…
Step 4
Once your communion cake design and all the details are finalized, we’ll be ready to book in your communion cake order. A deposit of 50% is now payable to lock your communion date into my calendar and confirm your communion cake booking…
Step 5
Everything will be put in to place for the making of your communion cake. The set up and styling of your communion cake is as important as the cake itself, so working alongside you, your venue and your planner, I’ll ensure your cake is displayed in the perfect place and styled to work with all the other aesthetic parts of your day. Et voila!
Since 2011 I’ve had the privilege of combining my love of design, travel and cake into my work. The couples I am lucky enough to work with and their stories add in to my inspiration which helps me to create something completely unique for every communion. Every part of the cake design process is as important as realizing the final cake on a communion day. Knowing I’ve played a part in achieving a family dream first communion with one of my Unique Cake Designs is the best feeling there is.
Many of my communion cake designs contain delicate elements and often require assembly at the venue which is why I delivery and set-up all of my cakes. I liaise with your communion planner at your venue to arrange this in the lead up to your first communion day, as well as being in contact with your photographer, videographer and florist when necessary.

Each of my tasting boxes contains 5 different flavors of my choice, please see our flavors page for the full list, plus 2 surprise luxury treats such as shortbread, all butter iced biscuits, meringue rosettes or some macarons.
All of my cakes are baked fresh using the finest quality ingredients locally and internationally sourced where possible and no added preservatives, so should be consumed within 48 hours of receipt for optimum enjoyment.
- Please be aware that my cakes are produced in a kitchen where GLUTEN and NUTS are handled.
- My cakes are not suitable for those with food allergies.
- My samples contain DAIRY, though I can accommodate Dairy Intolerance when creating a full wedding cake. Some Vegan options are available on request.
- Some samples contain ALCOHOL.
